Tengchong Block as arc related to Neo-Tethys occurred Late Cretaceous to Paleogene granitoids. Crust-derived rock along Neo-Tethyan arc has different origins during Late Cretaceous to Paleogene. Crustal thickness along the magmatic arc is decreasing from southern Lhasa across EHS to TB at 64 Ma.
