Original fluorinated aromatic poly(VDF-ter-CTFE-ter-TFMST) terpolymers. NMR characterization gives evidence of polymeric structure containing TFMST units. Molecular weights ranging from 2900 to 4400 g mol−1 indicate formation of oligomers. Low reactivity and retarding effect in radical polymerizations of TFMST. Incorporation of TFMST in terpolymers increased both thermal stability and Tg.
