Impact of lime and rice husk ash on soil loss and runoff rates has been studied. The highest runoff coefficient was recorded on the combination of soil + 6% lime. Pure lime significantly reduced the soil loss rate. Rice husk ash was very effective in reducing soil erosion and runoff rates. The combination of soil + 6% lime + 9% RHA was selected as the best sub-base materials.
