Pure Zn was subjected to rolling at liquid N2 temperature and subsequent annealing. A dominant <112¯0> fiber texture was observed along RD of the samples. Only 101¯2 type compressive twins were observed during rolling as well as annealing. Stable oriented growth was observed during annealing.
