Toluene removal efficiencies greater than 90% can be reached using NTP. The polarity and the SED have a significant effect on toluene removal efficiencies. Degradation pathway and removal efficiencies are highly correlated with RH. The suitability of NTP has to be studied according to by-products and O3 generation.
