All ternary systems exhibited type-2 behavior of LLE.

Othmer–Tobias and Hand correlations were used to validate the LLE results.

MIBK was superior solvent for extraction of cyclopentanone from water.

NRTL and UNIQUAC models were used to predict LLE data.
