Identification and evaluation of reference genes for expression studies by RT-qPCR during embryonic development of the emerging model organism, Macrobrachium olfersii
Six reference genes of M. olfersii were identified and evaluated. RpL8 and RpS6 were the most stable genes in embryonic developmental and adult tissues analyzed. The EF-1α and GAPDH genes were unsuitable for RT-qPCR normalization of M. olfersii developmental stages due to its expression variability. Impact of normalization with various reference genes was demonstrated during embryonic stages.
