We present field-based biostratigraphy and sea-level change for the Upper Cretaceous strata in the SW Tarim Basin.
Relatively abundant foraminifers, ostracods, and bivalves were discovered and identified.
The ages of the Kukebai and Dongba Formations are proposed.
The sea level of the SW Tarim Basin shows a close correlation with global sea level and south Tibet sea level fluctuations.
