Combinations of agricultural by-products for minimization of lag-phase are proposed. The agricultural by-products (ABPs) are classified based on proximate compositions. Control factors are used for selecting combinations of ABPs. Minimization of lag-phase explained by high-fat ABPs and high-carbohydrate ABPs.
