An electrochemical sensor based on magnetic molecularly imprinted polymers (MMIPs) was constructed for the detection of tetrabromobisphenol-A.
The combination of conductive magnetic nanoparticles and selective MIPs improved the sensitivity and selectivity of the sensor.
The electrochemical method showed good quantitative analysis characterization with a detection limit of 0.77 nmol L−1.
The developed method was successfully applied to determine tetrabromobisphenol-A in tap water, rain and pool water samples.
