AZ31B thin sheets were produced by ON-LHR technology. The quality of ON-LHR thin sheets is superior to that of OFF-LHR. The yield strength-grain size relationship deviates from the Hall–Petch law. Above 563 K, qualified thin sheets without crack flaws can be produced by ON-LHR. At 563 K, YS, UTS, FE and crack quality have a good comprehensive performance.
