Methodology for scanning swollen heterogeneous polymeric materials by micro-CT. Swelling/shrinkage/drying of the membrane accompanied by significant structural changes. The swelling of the membrane is dependent on concentration of a salt solution. The volumetric changes are well fitted with logarithmic dependence on concentration.
