A new DNA analysis method for strawberry seed can reveal in- or out-bred origin of each seed. The relationships between insect pollinator and pollination mode was tested by the DNA analysis. Flies appear to promote inbreeding. For honey bees or bumbles bees, both of in- and outbreeding promote.
