A new mathematic model is proposed to describe tooth crack with various initial locations, intersection angles and shapes; The effects of tooth crack on vibration mechanism during its propagating process are studied via a 6 DOF dynamic model; A health indicator is presented to capture the crack fault mode based on a parametrical-Laplace wavelet method.
