High amount hydrogen loading into Pd by all solid-state electrolysis was performed.

Two phase states with large and small lattice parameters were observed.

Lattice contractions were observed suggesting formations of super-abundant-vacancy.

The absence of mechanical pressure might stimulate the formation of the vacancy.

Sub-micron void formations were found in the Pd from recovered samples.
