A new lattice model is proposed by incorporating the driver’s aggressive effect. The driver’s aggressive effect on the stability of traffic flow have been explored. The modified KdV equation about the driver’s aggressive effect is derived to describe the traffic jam. The analytical and numerical results show that the driver’s aggressive effect can improve the stability of traffic flow in lattice model.
