Splitter plate length to tube diameter ratio (L/D) is maintained as 1.

Reynolds number for the study was in the range of 5500–14,500.

Splitter plate arrangements yields improved overall thermal performance.

The splitter plate attachment leads to lower friction factor than bare cylinder.
