We studied insect resistance mechanisms in tobacco harboring chicken interferon-纬.

Microarray analysis of lines revealed DEGs at flowering and post-flowering.

GO and KEGG cluster analyses revealed possible signal transduction-related genes.

Genes associated with ChIFN-纬 are likely to be involved in plant hormone metabolism.

The results may help elucidate the molecular basis of pest resistance.
