In the present study, Gd-doping distorts the structures of Sr1−xGdxTiO3 films. Magnetic Gd-doping results in ferrimagnetism in SrTiO3. Doped electrons occupy the bottom of conduction bands so that insulator-metal transition occurs. The present calculated results agree with available experiments.
