The two-dimensional distribution of TiO2 particle volume fraction is imaged near the stagnation plane of a counterflow flame. The concentration boundary layer is well resolved with a spatial resolution of 10 μm. A nice agreement is found between experimental results and theoretical predictions based on particle transport equation.
