Analyzed almost half a million travel satisfaction records over a 14 year period. Identified 5 distinctive multi-modal traveler groups with geographical disparities. Transit captives are more satisfied with their travel experience than choice riders. Priorities are set based on importance and satisfaction with service attributes. The importance of some transit attributes varies across time and travelers’ groups.
