We present ZnO binder-free anodes for LiBs based on nanosheets coated with graphite.
The microporous nanosheets are obtained by hydrothermal synthesis.
Our approach leads to a substantial increase of the permanent specific capacity.
C of ∼600 mAhg−1 after 100 cycles is obtained at a high specific current (1 Ag−1).
This represents the best performance for long-cycle ZnO-based anodes obtained so far.
