Cellular responses to tricalcium silicate cements have been studied extensively using different cell types that are expected to play an important role in endodontic regeneration.
A thorough understanding of the genes expressed by tricalcium silicate cements would help us in understanding their interactions with various cell populations along with the mechanism of action of these cements at the molecular level.
An in-depth knowledge of this literature helps both researchers and clinicians to move forward in the field of pulp tissue engineering.
