Laccase was effective in removing TCS, and the oligomerization of TCS was identified as the dominant reaction pathway. Laccase-mediated ECOCRs could effectively reduce the toxicity of TCS. MCs influenced the transformation of TCS in laccase-mediated ECOCRs via different mechanisms. Transformation of TCS in systems with NOM was hindered, which likely corresponded to the combined effect of both sorption and covalent binding.
