Wheat plants exposed to chlorpyrifos exhibited suppressed growth. Wheat plants exposed to chlorpyrifos exhibited oxidative stress. The toxicity of chlorpyrifos in wheat can be alleviated by SA. SA can block the accumulation of chlorpyrifos in wheat. The amelioration effect of SA is concentration-dependent.
