This paper proposes an advanced daylighting system that utilizes direct beam radiation for daylight illumination. This paper investigates if redirection of solar radiation in areas beyond the perimeter zone may result in energy savings. The proposed system enhances uniformity during summer solstice and increases lighting energy savings in the non-daylit area.
