The probability of UF6 gas release from a uranium conversion facility was analyzed. Fault trees of the conversion systems were constructed. Fuzzy set theory and expert elicitation were applied to obtain the unknown failure probabilities. Sensitivity and importance analyses were conducted to identify the weak points of the systems.
