Reactive diffusion concept allows treating of phase transformations in binary systems. The concept is generalized to account for intensity of sources and sinks for vacancies. The concept is now able to simulate the Kirkendall effect in multiphase binary systems. Supersaturation by vacancies provided by simulation indicates possible formation of pores.
