Measurement of heat transfer coefficients of five offset and wavy plate-fin heat exchanger test cores with single-blow testing technique. The correlations based on the CFD-simulation are compared with the experimental results for validation. The main novelties of the present work are: (a) new test data of offset and wavy fin surfaces with different fin parameters and (b) the suitability of test apparatus for present test cores is highlighted by comparing quantitative parameters NTU, axial heat conductivity, heat capacity ratios, etc.
