A method for computational analysis of flow-driven string dynamics is developed, targeting turbomachinery. The method components include the ST-VMS and ST-SI methods for the fluid dynamics, and the IGA for the string dynamics. Two cases of pilot computations including a ventilating fan, show the potential for the method in string dynamics analysis.
