Measuring a conceptual model of the relationship between compulsive cell phone use, in-vehicle cell phone use, and motor vehicle crash

Impulsivity and in-vehicle cell phone use were significantly associated with greater risk of previous motor vehicle crash. Anticipation, emotion, and time impact factors comprise compulsive cell phone use. The anticipation factor of compulsive cell phone use is significantly associated with in-vehicle cell phone use, but not risk of motor vehicle crash.
