文摘

Imprisoned high-risk violent offenders were compared to non-violent controls.

Resting-state functional connectivity (fc) was compared between groups.

Offenders had higher fc between cerebellum and amygdala and within the DLPFC.

Controls had higher fc between cerebellum and orbitofrontal cortex.

Results might reflect alterations in the processing of moral emotions in offenders.
