Underwater radiated noise of cavitating ship propellers was studied. On-board measurement with the off-board measurements was correlated Underwater radiated noise level was quantified by using on-board sensors. Full scale on-board and off board noise and vibration measurement data is presented and discussed. A new correlation method is introduced and proposed to obtain underwater radiated noise level with on-board measurement devices.
