Mo-Ni-Si-B metallic glass(MG) with high crystallization onset temperature and extremely high Vickers hardness was developed.
The effects of boron addition in Mo-Ni-Si system on glass-forming ability and mechanical properties were investigated.
The wear resistance and resilience of the Mo-Ni-Si-B MG were evaluated with H/E and H2/(2E) ratios.
The H/E, H2/(2E) ratios of the Mo-Ni-Si-B MG were extremely high compared to various hard ceramics & MGs developed up to now.
