A one-pot strategy of a soybean peroxidase-PANI biosensor construction for operation at neutral pH is proposed.
Acrylic acid contributes to obtain PANI in the conducting emeraldine salt form and to entrap the enzyme in a hydrogel matrix.
Soybean seed coat peroxidase is used as catalyst in the formation of the matrix and as sensing element.
The biosensor exhibits H2O2 detection sensitivity of 0.0875 nA μM−1 with a LoD of 2.2 μM at pH 7.0 in the flow system.
