Performance of 4 different rib shapes in a 2-pass channel is compared numerically. Large rib spacing studied has potential applications in land-based gas turbines. Detailed flow analysis is presented to study the effect of ribs and bend. Bend contributes significantly to the overall heat transfer enhancement.
