Nanosecond laser flash photolysis (XeCl, 308nm), optical spectroscopy, fluorescence, and time-resolved chemically induced nuclear polarization (CIDNP) were used to determine photophysical and photochemical processes for 5-sulfosalicylic acid dianion (HSSA2−) in aqueous solutions and frozen matrices.
