Natural VSL intensities from the Luochuan site exhibit growth up to ~1800 Gy.

The natural and single aliquot regenerated (SAR) dose-response curves do not overlap.

SAR induces incorrigible changes in trapping sensitivity and VSL decay curve shape.

VSL chronology in agreement with independent age control up to ~600 ka using a Multiple-Aliquot Additive-Dose (MAAD) protocol.
