Stochastic TEA is essential for communicating the riskiness of technologies. The breakeven price distribution is informative and easy to communicate. We developed two methods to quantify breakeven price distributions in TEA. The methods are demonstrated using a pyrolysis biofuel pathway. Stochastic TEA can be used to evaluate any emerging technologies.
