The simulated and experimental results of the output transmission under different waist length and taper ratio. Ge15Sb20Se65 bare glass fiber with a diameter of 500 μm was fabricated. The effect of different temperature and tapering speed on the properties of the taper fiber and the energy distribution in the waist region of the taper fiber should be explored. Experimental setup for the fabrication of chalcogenide fiber taper should be provide.
