Chemical derivatives have significant on thermal behavior of cellulose. The moisture adsorption ability of cellulose material powders exposed in difference humidity influences the MEC. Chemical derivatization has a significant effect on moisture adsorption ability, thermal stability and dust explosion characteristics of cellulosic materials.
