We investigate colored waste produced in the steam treatment of eucalyptus wood as a coloring matter for textile fabrics. The liquid waste showed to be an alternative source of dye for cotton, nylon and wool fabrics in an exhaust dyeing process. Dyed fabrics wash and rubbing fastness was very good, with light fastness results typical of natural dyes.
