We experimentally determined the topology of the yeast arsenite permease Acr3. Acr3 contains ten transmembrane regions (TM). Both N- and C-terminus of Acr3 face the cytoplasm. An extra segment in the loop L8 is dispensable for Acr3 function. We present a homology structural model of Acr3.
