Experimental investigation shows the contribution of cutting speed, feed and DOC/Canned cycle on geometrical errors like cylindricity and perpendicularity.

Cylindricity and perpendicularity measurement was carried out using CMM.

Second order regression model is developed, which helps in predicting geometrical errors in context of machining parameters.

The work piece material, WCB, is most widely used in valve manufacturing industries. The developed model may help a lot to those industries, which are using WCB as base material.
