Rice consumption is one of major pathways of human exposure to inorganic arsenic. Mn oxide-modified biochar application reduces arsenic concentration in brown rice. Mn oxide-modified biochar composites have a positive effect on amino acids and improve rice growth. Mn oxide-modified biochar application can be used to remediate arsenic-contaminated soil.
