The superhydrophobic property can be realized in a much quicker process (7.5 min) in aqueous solution than in ethanol. The fabrication process of superhydrophobic metal surfaces greatly increases the safety in industrial manufacture in commercial scale. The superhydrophobic copper surfaces show excellent corrosion resistance.
