Room temperature ferromagnetism observed in pure La0.5Sr0.5TiO3 nanofibers fabricated by electrospinning

Electrospun La0.5Sr0.5TiO3 nanofibers with 148–208 nm in diameter have been fabricated.

The prepared samples were well characterized by XRD, TEM, XPS, and VSM.

The samples exhibit ferromagnetism, having the MS of 0.022–0.067 emu/g at 10 kOe.

Oxygen vacancies play an important role on the RT-FM of La0.5Sr0.5TiO3 nanofibers.

This work demonstrates a simple method can be used to fabricate the La0.5Sr0.5TiO3 nanofibers.
