Knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) and health risk assessment (HRA) were incorporated in this drinking water study in Kelantan, Malaysia.
The studied Pasir Mas population has good knowledge (80%) and practice (81%) about their drinking water supply.
However, the studied population have less positive attitude (93%) towards their drinking water supply.
Heavy metals in Pasir Mas drinking water were under the permissible limits.
HRA of Pasir Mas drinking water showed no potential non-carcinogenic and carcinogenic risks.
