Dry semi-continuous anaerobic digestion of food waste in the mesophilic and thermophilic modes: New aspects of sustainable management and energy recovery in South Korea
DScAD remained stable even at a high rate of organic loading. Higher OLR led to the more reduction of VS and the production of biogas. Thermophilic digesters had higher reduction of VS and the generation of biogas. Stable with faster digestion and higher OLR was achieved in the thermophilic operation. Acetic and propionic acids were the most prominent in the TVFA.
