Currently, the structure of the 3bf28db0ef18" title="Click to view the MathML source">X(3872) meson is unknown. Different competing models of the exotic state 3bf28db0ef18" title="Click to view the MathML source">X(3872) exist, including the possibilities that this state is either a mesonic molecule with dominating 3b0f02"> composition, a 3bcadb0cd7e67f23bf3c3cc9"> tetraquark, or a -gluon hybrid state. It is expected that the 3bf28db0ef18" title="Click to view the MathML source">X(3872) state is rather strongly coupled to the 3b6407e46bb3fa4a833ebb459f8"> channel and, therefore, can be produced in 3b6407e46bb3fa4a833ebb459f8"> and collisions at PANDA. We propose to test the hypothetical molecular structure of 3bf28db0ef18" title="Click to view the MathML source">X(3872) by studying the D or stripping reactions on a nuclear residue.
